As you may know, my blog started as an infertility blog (almost 6 years ago!) and anyone in the infertility blogging world has heard of Stirrup Queens.  The Stirrup Queen herself, Melissa Ford wrote Navigating the Land of IF (see right) a book I highly recommend for anyone on the infertility journey.
She does a yearly round up of posts called Creme de la Creme.  In answer to the many blogger awards and lists of “bests” out there this list is different in that bloggers submit their own favorite posts.  Sometimes that is completely different from the post with the most hits or comments.  Your own favorite post might have been fun to write or really difficult to write but it in some way speaks to you more than any other post.

I would like to continue this tradition in the Natural Parenting blog world!  I am currently accepting submissions of your own favorite post of 2011 to put into a collection called

The Best of Me

The only rules are:

  1. The post was written by you
  2. It was previously published in 2011
  3. Any topic – it doesn’t have to be parenting related!  (I do reserve the right to not include a post that is grossly in direct opposition to natural parenting).

That’s it!  I’d love for you to be involved as I think this will be a great list!

The deadline for submissions is January 30th 2012.

I will curate the collection and post it in time for a great Valentine’s day gift.  I will also be sending out button code so you can add a badge to your submitted post.  This shows off your post plus links to everyone elses’ Best of posts – promoting your fellow bloggers!  If it goes well I plan to do this each year.

I tried to make it as simple as possible (we have plenty of writing obligations on our plates already, right?)
